Brian began studying piano at the age of 7 and then guitar at 10. It wasn't until playing in his first band at the age of 13 that he tried his hand at singing. By the age of 14 he was  playing bars, weddings and any place that would hire him. Now he has settled in on a musical endeavor that he says feels much more personal,  passionate and satisfying.

Although Brian plays solo gigs most of the time, he is joined by bandmate Joe Schusler a few times a month for their "Brian and Joe" duo. Prior to that Brian played in bands such as Dr. Strangelove, Krankenstein, Twist Of Fate, Nik and the Nice Guys, Steel Sun and Rapid Fire. Through the years he has been in opening acts for artists such as Bret Michaels, Confederate Railroad, Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet, Foghat, The Guess Who and more.
